How to add and use Signalgrid widgets on iPhone and iPad.
Signalgrid for iOS includes Home Screen widgets that show your most recent notifications.
Widgets are available in three sizes and automatically match iOS Light Mode and Dark Mode.
Widget sizes and what they show
- Small widget: shows the most recent notification.
- Medium widget: shows the last 2 notifications.
- Large widget: shows the latest notifications (a longer list than the medium widget).
Login requirement
Widgets only display content when you are logged in to Signalgrid on the device. You only need to log in once: after the initial login, widgets can be added and will continue to display updates while your session remains active.
Add a widget to the Home Screen
- Make sure you are logged in to the Signalgrid app (open the app once and sign in).
- On the Home Screen, touch and hold an empty area until the icons start to jiggle.
- Tap the + button (top-left).
- Search for Signalgrid in the widget list.
- Swipe to choose a size (Small, Medium, or Large).
- Tap Add Widget.
- Tap Done.
Troubleshooting
Widget refresh timing is controlled by iOS, not Signalgrid, so updates can’t be guaranteed on a fixed schedule.
Apple
refreshes widgets periodically based on system conditions (battery, usage, background limits), typically every few
minutes to about once per hour.
